Welcome to Lambs Elementary School! We are a diverse school serving the Dorchester community and Joint Base Charleston. Our students range from Child Development through fifth grade. We have a building full of talented and dedicated teachers and staff. Together, we will grow our students to become leaders who work with integrity and set goals to strive for excellence!
We mirror our district's motto, the students are the heart of our work. We believe that all means all and will do what we need to ensure that all students are provided with the best possible education.
I am so proud to be the principal of a school where the staff, parents, and community members work together to provide our students with a high quality education that balances academic achievement and social emotional learning. Mrs. Maree
Mrs. Maree has over 13 years of experience in education. She’s served as an Elementary Instructional Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction with the district for the past three years before becoming a part of the Lambs family.
Mrs. Maree previously served as a School Based Instructional Coach and third grade teacher at A. C. Corcoran Elementary School. Prior to her time at A. C. Corcoran, Maree taught third and fourth grade in Richland One, Colleton County, and Chatham County School District. Mrs.Maree is Read to Succeed and Gifted and Talented endorsed. Additionally, she is certified in the areas of Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle Level Science and Social Studies, and Elementary Principal.
Mrs. Maree loves spending time with her husband and son. In her spare time she likes to read, travel, and try new restaurants.
